About the Journal

Jurnal Pengelolaan Pertambangan (JPP) is a scientific journal published periodically as a medium for disseminating research articles, case studies, and scientific reviews in the field of mineral and energy mining. It serves as a platform for academics, practitioners, researchers, and stakeholders in the mining sector to exchange knowledge, innovations, and solutions that promote efficient, responsible, and sustainable mining practices.

The journal covers a broad range of topics, including mining engineering, mineral and energy resource management, mining economics and management, sustainability in the mining industry, as well as reclamation, environmental issues, and mining policy. Guided by the tagline “Scientific Insight for Responsible Mining,” JPP seeks to provide a forum for advancing scholarly discussions and practical contributions that support sustainable and responsible mining practices.

JPP is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to maintaining scientific rigor and integrity in every published article. It is issued four times a year (March, June, September, and December) and accepts manuscripts in either Bahasa Indonesia or English. The journal is managed and published by Sore Institute Publisher.
